Supported by a photo/video team, the Secretary General and the Head of Marketing were able to gain an in-depth insight into the organization of the World Winter Games Turin 2025 for around a week.
Delegations from Arosa, Chur and Lenzerheide also visited the games to soak up the special atmosphere and gain important insights for their preparations.
It was obvious that the very short preparation time available to the LOC in Turin had to be paid for with some weaknesses. These need to be eliminated in our planning so that the more than 100 delegations from all over the world can experience great games in Switzerland.
The meetings with the ambassadors for the World Winter Games Switzerland 2029 were a special experience, as were the successes of the Swiss delegation. Our Board member Silja Horber deserves special mention. She won the gold medal in figure skating, congratulations.
